Three of the IWEV team members, Flora, Randi, and Sue, look at the position of immigrant women who face violence in Icelandic society. The article was published in 19. júní the largest feminist popular journal in Iceland and critiques the usual response that immigrant women should know their rights in both a legal and human rights framework. Instead of putting the burden on women who are already dealing with violence, all of society should be held accountable for tackling this issue.
